Wilmar apprenticeship program
An apprenticeship with Wilmar is more than just a job – it’s a life-long education, and the start of a diverse and rewarding career. You’ll enjoy hands-on training, a variety of tasks and challenging work in a busy industrial environment.
2020 APPLICATIONS HAVE NOW CLOSED.
Applications for the 2021 intake will open mid-July 2020. Please pre-register your interest to be notified when applications will open.
Our apprenticeship program runs for four years and combines both theory (off-the-job) and practical (on-the-job) education. You’ll study the theoretical side of your apprenticeship at a Registered Training Organisation, such as a TAFE, and complete the practical side in our sugar mills or ethanol distillery.
To support you through your apprenticeship, we provide uniforms, personal protective equipment (eg helmets, glasses, gloves, boots) and a full professional tool kit. We also pay for your TAFE training.
